I'm supposed to be cheery and tell you how fabulous this diet is so you'll buy the book, but to be honest, I'm not impressed. The sample menus amounted to, "Eat small portions of these standard low-fat, unrefined-carb weight-loss dishes and drink lots of unsugared tea, and you'll lose weight!" Well, yes. You could follow "Eat small portions of these standard low-fat, unrefined-carb weight-loss dishes" with damn near anything, including "...and bow naked to the North Star and offer obeisances to our lord and master Yyqyyhnyb," and you'd get the same results.
Still, the placebo effect of a new diet plan is nothing to sneer at. And replacing sugared drinks with unsugared drinks can do you nothing but good. There are dieters who swear by this diet, so if you feel like trying it, why not?
According to people who have tried Dr. Tea's tea-infused recipes, they're pretty damn good. So if you're looking for a good tea cookbook rather than a diet plan, consider using the diet book as a cookbook.
